Biography
Donya Farhadi was a 22-year-old student from Izeh who went missing on December 7, 2022, during the nationwide protests. Her body was discovered eight days later on December 15 in the Karun River near the Cable Bridge in Ahvaz. Known as the 'Daughter of Karun,' she is commemorated by her family annually on her birthday, which coincides with International Women's Day.
